I, like most people out there have “worked out” in one aspect or another for many years, but it wasn’t until I found Crossfit that I really saw what working out really meant…I wasn’t a bodybuilder I didn’t want to be a body builder but like most when I stepped into the gym that was all I knew. So I hopped on the internet and started searching around and found Crossfit. I was blown away by it. I started doing Crossfit on a regular basis and have never turned back.
Before Practice Crossfit was born I did the job to job thing to pay the bills. I was married in 2005 and after another slew of odds and ends jobs; I decided to do what I loved to do, make people hate me….wait what! Just kidding, well kind of. I love to train people and push them beyond what they even fathomed was possible and I get to do just that every single day, now they usually end up loving me in the long run. We opened Practice Crossfit in January of 2008 and shortly after my son Zechariah was born. My family is my inspiration to provide the best service that I can. I try to make people comfortable around me and I usually succeed and I am definitely a people person. I rely on God to guide my steps as a husband, a father, and a trainer and I will do my best to be the best husband, father, and trainer that I can be. “Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another”.-(Proverbs 27:17)
So what’s next? What can I say that anyone else would want to know? Fitness can and will improve your life, if you are willing to put in the effort. This is not some kind of infomercial where I’m going to tell you that getting in shape is easy. Its not, you can achieve more than you ever thought possible if you are willing to do it, through blood sweat and tears, amazing things happen.
