Bunch bar
Paleo is a modern day diet revolution that goes against everything the white coats tell us today. Thankfully, Paleo followers look nothing like most of these white coat, pill prescribing, carbvores. Thankfully Paleo is changing things for the better.
Here at PCF we are honest about our food. And honestly, the “Bunch Bar” is not Paleo. It contains whey protein which, harmless to most as it may be, is dairy. It also contains ingredients paleolithic man would not of had, such as Almond Milk, and Coconut Flour.
The bunch bar is not meant to be eaten everyday. It is meant to enhance recovery on these especially difficult WOD, or multi WOD days. It is meant to be an addition to the diet of an athlete who feels just a little run down after three+ days of hard training. It is specifically formulated to utilize fat for energy, as opposed to store fat for later. It contains ingredients, while un-paleo as they are, should not contaminate the proper paleo human condition we all hold so dear. Its not for everyone, its for someone who digs the paleo culture 90%+ of the time, but still wants their “real” protein bar. Its for someone who forgot to cook a meal, and does not want to fast. Its for someone who needs something other than a brownie.
