In Your Words: Dave

Mar 27, 2014 11 Comments by

Dave is 73-years-old, spirited, and always up for the challenge. And since 2008, he’s been CrossFitting.

“You can modify it any way you want to. You can make anything happen, and on top of that, you can still be challenging yourself.” – Dave

Not only that, but Dave’s had a few open heart surgeries and a pacemaker put in; still, he continues to make fitness a priority.

What a cool morning. I’m gonna miss the energy that happens around those coming to do the Open WOD and those cheering and doing their workout. Thanks to all of you who came in this morning at 5am.
Michelle and Jen A. did 14.5. Michelle said it feels just as it looks and you would think it feels. Nasty. But she’s taking home a trinket from the Open, a nice egg on the front of her head. The bar can get in the way of a burpee on this one.:)

  3. Michelle says:

That’s just one of those WODs where if you stop for too long you really never want to start again. Pick a pace & stick with it! Thanks for the extra cheers 5a & Jen A for tackling it with me!

Sorry for the no-rep nasty glare & thanks for making me feel guilty for every second of rest I did try to take, my face on the cold mats felt pretty great ;)

Hi there! This is kind of off topic but I need some help from an
established blog. Is it tough to set up your own blog?
I’m not very techincal but I can figure things
out pretty fast. I’m thinking about creating my own but I’m not sure where to begin.
Do you have any points or suggestions? Thanks

Dave your the man!! I enjoy having you at 9am. Your doing great and love seeing your dedication to fitness lifestyle. You are a great role model Dave!

I must say I went to bed w anxiety over 14.5 and even more so after watching Jen A & Michelle tackle it. It’s definitely a tough one that you just keep telling yourself to push through the pain and not being able to breathe til it’s over. Good luck everyone!!

Wow, Dave. What a great come-back story…a couple of times over! A true example of perseverance. I look forward to meeting and training with you in the near future.

Great story about you, Dave. I hadn’t seen you at CFT in a while and was wondering about you. Good to see that you are still going strong! – Frank

  10. Alda says:

Many people have switched to ecigs because of health reasons
and report that they no longer have the breathing problems associated with
traditional cigarettes. One thing that you must think about if you want to own the highest quality e-cigarette is the
battery. ” Perhaps you were feeling dissatisfied with some aspect of your life and contemplating making change.
