This is far from our first pregnant CrossFit go round. However, it’s our first time documenting every single week.
At 12 weeks Mindy seems to be adjusting well. The cascade of hormones is like weather in Ohio, sunny for 20-seconds then mittens and blizzards. Thankfully, you can prevent some of the maelstroms with activity, sleep, and most importantly drugs (food).
The snapshot above is generally what Mindy eats in a day. Last week we increased her carbs and we may do so again depending on how she feels. This week, and weeks following, we may reduce the amount of tree nuts and increase coconut. Coconut, after all, is 70-percentish MCT (medium-chain triglyceride) and entirely saturated. It’s anti-viral, anti-microbial and super good for the stomach. Also, mothers milk is over 50-percent saturated fat.
