In your words: Kenneth T

There are those kinda CrossFitters that feel like they’ve  always been there. KC’s like that.

I think we take people like that for granted. The ones who would CrossFit even if we never applauded them or recognized a single accomplishment. The ones who would work when no ones looking.

I’ve seen KC come back from an intense injury he got outside of CrossFit. I’ve seen him produce modifications that were harder than the workout. I’ve seen him do all of this because he knew he had to, not because we were telling him to. Because it was right.

Great KC moment. You’re one of the quiet warriors, KC, and I have to agree that watching you come back from your collarbone break was most impressive. Your patience and determination during that time is something those of us who witnessed it should keep in mind as we work through challenges ourselves and w others.

Nikki Jones…get KC to share his story w you. Can help keep ya centered.

Awesome to see everyone at noon. So much progress to watch. And, yes, even, ladder hopscotching counts where progress is concerned. I dig watchin’ ya’ll think so much about the movement.

Congrats to Steve on his first, totally unstaged, unannounced, omg-what-just-happened muscle-up! Sometimes that’s just how they happen. Here’s to many more.

Sharon – nothin’ better than ME gettin’ to tell YOU to have patience. Today was a step forward on your auxiliary movements. Embrace that. And you just happen to be married to the best DU trainer we have, so chill!

Phil – great recovery on the BJs (yoikes!), and some really killer improvement on banded pull-ups and dips. Good to see you pushin so hard.

Patrick and Scotty (whom I’ve missed lately), Doug and the fam (VAUGHNIE!) and the always elite Davis duo rounded out lunchtime well.
