In your words: Lori Z
Most days we are really rough around the edges. People like Lori love CrossFit specifically because of those sharp corners.
My first meeting with Lori was less than professional on my part. Most usually are depending on your definition of professional. I was shirtless sweating and dirty, she was spotless and oddly comfortable.
“Have you ever done CrossFit before?,” I asked.
She said she had. So, of course, I asked her to join us.
Forty or so minutes later, the class wrapped “Barbara”, one of our less than friendly workouts.
Lori, just as sweaty and dirty as the rest of the crowd, seemed like she had been there since the beginning.

5am was sick this morning…:). Sick as in AWESOME!, FABULOUS!, GREAT!!
Thanks for working hard and tackling all we had to do quickly.
Loved seeing everyone go the full minute on some fabulous looking overhead squats!!
If you didn’t get in the auxiliary, consider coming back tonight or after work @ 5.

Agreed, fun class this morning. 10 was groovin with the music the whole time, even while in plank. Def improved my mood at 5am, so thank you!
Oh and Lori, love your video. You probably have a longer drive than anyone else to get to PCF which makes your commitment all the more impressive. So glad you’re part of the family!
Thanks Mindy! Thoughts of moving to Troy have come & gone in my mind many, many times…just to be closer to all of you & PCF! I hate missing out on so much just because of my distance. So glad I’m part of the family too – as little as it is.
I second you on this one Lori, if Crystal and I wouldn’t lose our a** on selling our house at the moment we would have moved awhile ago. With Crystal working in Springfield, kids daycare in Urbana, me teaching in Piqua, living above Kiser lake and family of PCFers in Troy it seems we spend more time in our car than anywhere. If we could do some kind of car crossfit we’d be jacked!!! Haaaahaa

Min, I agree…watching 10 get his groove on (especially during thruster breaks) was mood enhancing! Fun, BIG 5am!!!!!
THANK YOU Chas for asking me to take part in this. We all know I am not anywhere close to being one of the “best of the best” when it comes to Crossfit, but that’s ok! I just appreciate you taking the time w me so that others can see…you don’t have to be the best, the fittest, the most athletic to Crossfit. It’s about so much more than that! It’s about trying your hardest, taking care of yourself & being a part of a positive HEALTHY environment that makes a person want to be better everyday in everyway!! Practice Crossfit is ALL of that & SO MUCH MORE!!
294 RX that bad boy!! I accidentally OH squat 105 one time before falling….but I guess that’s a #20 PR
Don’t ya love it when you PR on accident? Ha! Nice job
Haha YES!! Thanks Mindy!
323 M 45# OH 135#DL held plank for all three rounds
