Too many words
Most people are impossible to understand. People, myself often included, speak a lot of words and still manage to say nothing.
Understanding people is like eating hot soup; You shovel one spoonful at a time, cool it with your breath, and sip it, otherwise you get burned. It takes concentration and compassion. It takes commitment, and deliberate actions. Understanding happens in the spaces between the words we say. We learn others best with each pause they take, within their life filled breath, not their exhausted words.
It just feels clogged and messy out there anymore. It seems like everyone yearns to be heard, but no one is willing to listen. To me it feels like every insightful comment and every helpful tip, is lost forever in a sea of people who won’t shut-up. It’s like humans are stuck on repeat, we would rather go over step one a thousand times in a dozen languages before we are ever willing to be quiet and simply do it.
When we are constantly talking, we are unable to hear the words we need most. Stop speaking for a second and see what your missing. Add to the conversation like a whisper of relief everyone quiets to hear, not the megaphone everyone ignores.

255# no PR
This was a fun one!!!
I’m SO disappointed to miss out on this one as I’d dig the chance to test my thruster-ability (and to work on that damn WB goat I’ve got). Will have to mark it for a comeback.
Diana and Benny held down the 6a well. Diana’s been out for some time and still pushed herself to 100lbs on her thruster nearly twice! And Benny PR-ed by 10#s. I can remember days when 6a was packed, but one-on-one time is always good as well!

Great job this morning Chris! I liked how we warmed up after going through the Wod demos.
nikki…i may just need to steal some of your mod wko to get some move on for myself today. how in the hell did you do shoot thrus?
I had Patrick, Caleb, Kelly and Ty at noon today! I really enjoyed the nooners. Kelly found out she has rapid fire toe-to-bar!! Awesome!! Everyone PR’d on their thruster, except Patrick who got paged right before we got started. Amazing that he would have to leave and go save someone’s life!! Had fun with you guys!
