In the time long long ago to “be able” meant much in the CrossFit world. Today many have ability, now more so than ever, we crave virtuosity.

Coach said it so long ago and it has been repeated so much that is cliche, but now more so than ever CrossFitters seek out ways to do common tasks uncommonly well. The video above is proof of that. Two years ago, the worlds fittest man could hardly ascend a rope once, today we develop skills to promote the world greenest CrossFitters an opportunity to get to the top.

The clip above makes it look simple. That’s what good coaching is. Making the difficult simple and effective so that even the most intimidated of us feels right at home giving it all we got.
